Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has voiced out over incompetence from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) regarding friendlies.

The recent WAFCON winners have experienced another disappointment just weeks after the tournament was moved from March to the middle of the year.

According to Soccer Net, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has taken a dig at the NFF after Cape Verde pulled out of their international friendlies scheduled for this month’s international break.

Ajibade has always been raising concerns about how the Super Falcons have been treated despite their enormous success on the African continent.

“African women’s football deserves better,” Ajibade tweeted when the WAFCON 2026 tournament was postponed. She also recently took to her Instagram story to complain about the absence of friendlies in the build-up to the upcoming tournament.

However, there is much more than the WAFCON tournament, as a World Cup spot awaits the final four, and with the men’s national team failing to qualify, it would be unusual to see both the male and female teams absent from the global stage.

“Sir is there no shame? Camp opens on the 11th of April, and we the players, have no idea where the venue is,” a screenshot of her conversation with an official circulated on social media conveyed.

There has been no official announcement about the camp, and nothing has been posted on the Super Falcons’ official social media page.
