According to Adedokun, the training center will offer courses in software development, UI/UX design, data analytics, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence literacy, and the program is open to individuals of all ages.
“Our mission is to build an ecosystem where individuals are equipped with the right skills, mindset, and opportunities to thrive in today’s workplace,” he said, adding that the organization plans to train over 10,000 Nigerians in the coming years.
He further revealed that LearnSmart is developing a Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance online education, enabling remote learning and progress tracking through structured dashboards. The platform, he explained, will complement physical training and extend access to learners nationwide.
As part of its broader engagement strategy, the organization also introduced its SmartViews conference series and Smart’a’Tete podcast, initiatives aimed at connecting participants with industry experts, inspiring innovation, and providing career guidance.

Adedokun highlighted previous engagements, including conferences for secondary school students and panel discussions on technology startups, as part of efforts to nurture talent and guide informed career decisions.
To tackle unemployment among tech graduates, LearnSmart announced plans to organize job fairs and facilitate internships through partnerships with private-sector organizations. The CEO noted that the organisation would track trainees from certification to employment to ensure a seamless transition into the workforce.
He also disclosed that LearnSmart is collaborating with the Federal Government’s Three Million Technical Talents initiative to support national digital literacy goals and expand employment pathways for Nigerian youths.
In her remarks, Ngozi Arisa, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Bells University of Technology, described the project as a timely intervention in human capital development.
She noted that the founder of LearnSmart is an alumnus of the institution, having graduated with a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering, and added that the university remains committed to producing self-reliant graduates.
Arisa expressed confidence that the initiative would contribute to economic growth by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among young Nigerians. She, however, urged the Federal Government to address key challenges facing tech startups, including inadequate power supply and limited access to affordable internet services.
She stressed that improved infrastructure and stronger intellectual property protection would enable startups to compete more effectively on the global stage.
In a goodwill message, the Olota of Ota, represented by Deji Kosebinu, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in addressing youth unemployment and promoting community development, reaffirming the monarch’s support for programs that advance education and innovation.
