Wife of former Oyo State Governor, Florence Ajimobi, has congratulated the newly elected Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, describing their emergence as a step toward strengthening the party ahead of future political contests.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the former First Lady particularly congratulated Chief Moses Adeyemo on his election as Oyo State Chairman of the APC.

She described Adeyemo, who served as Deputy Governor to her late husband, Abiola Ajimobi, as an experienced administrator whose leadership could promote unity within the party.

According to her, “Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo has demonstrated steadfast commitment to the progressive cause over the years. His experience in governance and his calm disposition will undoubtedly help in consolidating the gains of the party and repositioning it for greater success.”

Mrs. Ajimobi expressed confidence that the new executive would provide direction and encourage cohesion among party members across the state.

She also commended the Chairman of the Congress Committee, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, for overseeing what she described as a peaceful and transparent congress.

“The orderly conduct of the congress reflects the maturity of our party members and the dedication of the committee to ensuring a credible process,” she stated.

She urged members of the APC in the state to close ranks and support the new leadership in order to build a stronger and more united party capable of delivering effective representation and governance.
