Odina disclosed that several digitisation initiatives introduced in partnership with Green Lunar while Musa served as Chief of Defence Staff have been maintained by the current leadership of the various service branches, with some programmes recording further progress.
The initiatives include the deployment of Electronic Medical Records software in Army and Defence hospitals; Training Institutions Management software and Computer-Based Test software in military training institutions; and Visitors Management software for critical military establishments.
The company also developed and deployed bespoke applications for the administration of military units, as well as for standards and evaluation processes.
He assured the Minister of the firm’s continued collaboration with the Armed Forces, stressing the imperative of deepening technology-driven reforms across the services.
Odina also proposed a special discount initiative for serving and retired military personnel, describing it as a modest gesture in recognition of their sacrifices. He further urged the Ministry to intensify efforts to project the achievements of the Armed Forces to the public.
In his remarks, Oyekola expressed appreciation to the Minister for the opportunity to partner with the Ministry, pledging that the company would sustain its cooperation with defence authorities to expand the digitisation drive.
