A Kaduna-based political movement, Mairago Vanguard for Tinubu and Uba Sani 2027, has announced plans to mobilise massive grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group said it had put in place structures across the 23 local government areas of the state, three senatorial zones and down to polling units to ensure effective coordination and voter engagement.

Coordinator of the movement, Suleiman Abubakar, in a statement, said six members have been appointed in each of the local government areas and six in each of the three senatorial districts to drive mobilisation.

He added that an additional six individuals have been selected in each polling unit across the state to canvass support, sensitise voters and coordinate campaign activities at the grassroots level.

According to him, the movement is targeting no fewer than 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu and Sani in the nextgeneral elections, expressing confidence that the structure put in place would guarantee electoral success.

Abubakar further said under the leadership of the founder, Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar Mairago, the group is being equipped with the  resources to sustain its mobilisation drive.

He however assured that efforts would be intensified in the coming months to consolidate support across Kaduna State.
