Founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has defended Chief Sunday Adeyemo(Sunday Igboho), describing him as a committed voice for human rights.

He said expressing strong opinions on national issues should not attract threat of arrest or intimidation.

A statement by Maharaji ji said Igboho had positioned himself as a defender of his people, adding his actions and statements should be viewed in the context of advocacy, rather than incitement.

He called on Nigerians to be calm and avoid politicising controversy, stressing need for dialogue, tolerance and peace.

“We can’t watch people driven by religion, tribal and ethnic sentiments and disregard for rule of law and acceptable national consensus and ethos on power shift, who keep mute.”

Maharaj Ji congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, praising his resilience and leadership in guiding the nation through challenging times.

‎‎He expressed confidence in the President’s vision for Nigeria, noting that his policies and leadership approach are geared toward long-term development and national stability.

‎‎He urged Nigerians, particularly youths and students, not to bother about the negative western style information war against the President, adding that they should continue supporting Tinubu and vote for him in the 2027 general election.
