A high-level security meeting was held on Thursday at the Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat as authorities intensified efforts to bolster peace, stability, and coordinated security operations across the Ikorodu Division.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Akeem Mustapha, the council maintained that Ikorodu remains united, secure, and forward-looking.

The strategic engagement brought together executive chairmen within the division, key stakeholders, and heads of various security agencies operating in the area.

Discussions at the meeting focused on enhancing collaboration among critical actors and reinforcing ongoing initiatives aimed at sustaining peace and stability across the division.

The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Prince Adedayo Ladega, hosted the meeting alongside other stakeholders, with deliberations centred on improving inter-agency coordination and strengthening collective security efforts.

Participants stressed the importance of sustained synergy among all stakeholders, noting that continuous engagement remains crucial to maintaining peace in the division.

The leadership of the division also reaffirmed its commitment to upholding law and order, urging residents to support security agencies through vigilance and cooperation.
