Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been named among the nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March, following an impressive run of form with Fulham.

The 29-year-old was a pivotal figure for the Cottagers throughout the month, featuring in all four of their league fixtures. His standout moment came in the 2-1 home victory over Tottenham Hotspur, where he delivered a commanding performance capped by a clinical finish.

During the period under review, Fulham secured two wins and a draw from four matches.

Iwobi faces stiff competition for the individual honor. Also shortlisted are Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, and Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. Completing the seven-man list are James Garner (Everton), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), and Danny Welbeck (Brighton & Hove Albion).

Fans have until Monday, March 30, to cast their votes on the EA SPORTS website. The public vote will be combined with the verdict of a panel of football experts, with the winner set to be announced next week.
