The Chairman of Buji Local Government Council in Jigawa State, Najeebulah Falalu Tukur, has distributed Ramadan welfare packages provided by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to executives and elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Buji Local Government Area.

Speaking during the presentation, the council chairman said the gesture reflected the President’s commitment to supporting party loyalists and vulnerable citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.

“I am delighted to convey this goodwill message from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to our party leaders and stakeholders at the grassroots,” Tukur said.

He explained that the welfare packages comprising 25-kilogram bags of rice—were distributed to about 297 APC executives and elders across ward and local government levels in Buji.

According to him, the intervention came through the leadership of the Governor Umar Namadi, as part of efforts to extend the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope support to party members and communities.

Tukur described the initiative as a clear demonstration of President Tinubu’s concern and compassion for party faithful and citizens, particularly during Ramadan when acts of charity and solidarity are encouraged.

“In the same spirit, similar food items were also distributed to Local Government and Ward Coordinators, as well as Ward Media Aides of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Buji LGA,” he added.

The chairman noted that the gesture was aimed at appreciating grassroots stakeholders and strengthening party unity while supporting families during the fasting period.

He urged beneficiaries to continue praying for the success of the Tinubu administration and for peace, unity, and development across the country.
