Galatasaray have received a massive fitness boost ahead of their high-stakes trip to Turin.

Star striker Victor Osimhen is set to travel for tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League knockout play-off second leg against Juventus, despite a recent knee scare that kept him out of domestic action.

Precautionary Rest

The 27-year-old Nigerian international was a notable absentee during Saturday's disappointing 2-0 defeat to Konyaspor. After reporting persistent pain in his right knee, the club opted for a "calculated risk," withdrawing him from the matchday squad to ensure he would be at 100% for European duty.

Osimhen’s presence is vital for the Turkish giants as they look to defend their commanding lead. He was the architect of Galatasaray’s 5-2 demolition of Juventus in the first leg, where his relentless energy and two crucial assists left the Italian defense in tatters.

Osimhen has been in blistering form this season, tallying 15 goals and 5 assists across the Süper Lig and Champions League.

As Galatasaray prepares for the showdown at the Allianz Stadium, the spotlight on Osimhen extends beyond the pitch. His dominant performances have reportedly reignited a bidding war among Europe’s elite.

While  Spanish  giants,  Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both  reportedly monitoring his situation, Bayern Munich remains a long-term admirer.

Ironically, his Wednesday’s  opponents, Juventus, are also rumoured to be in the hunt for his signature should he decide to return to Serie A.

Tomorrow's clash will not only decide who progresses to the Round of 16 but will serve as a prime audition for one of the world's most clinical finishers.
