Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have killed 30-year- old Chief Executive Officer of Principle Take Out Eatery and Restaurant, Justice Abu Oshioke.
Oshioke was shot dead few hours to the dedication of his child in Ekpoma, headquarters of Esan West Local Government Area.
He was said to have gone out to pick up an order made for the child’s dedication when the kidnappers attempted to abduct him.
Edo Police spokesman, Deputy Superintendent of Police Eno Ikoedem, said preliminary investigation indicated that the deceased returned home to pick up some items for his business when he was attacked by the assailants.

Ikoedem said he was rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
“The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, Monday Agbonika, has ordered a full-scale investigation and intensified manhunt for those responsible. The Police, in collaboration with the military, local vigilantes, and hunters, are actively pursuing the perpetrators through coordinated operations.
“The Command assures residents of Ekpoma and the general public that every effort is being made to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice. Members of the public are urged to remain calm, vigilant, and provide any useful information that may assist the ongoing investigation,” she added.
