The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced that the official draw for the 2025/2026 Super 4 Playoffs will take place on April 24, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos.

The ceremony will establish the bracket for the season's final postseason tournament, scheduled to run from May 1 to May 8 at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.

Unlike previous seasons that featured a "Super 8" format to decide promotion, this year’s Super 4 tournament is strictly designed to determine the overall champion of the NNL. All participants in the playoffs have already secured, or are on the verge of securing, automatic promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) by finishing at the top of their respective conferences.

Three clubs—Doma FC, Inter Lagos, and Sporting Lagos—have already mathematically confirmed their promotion to the top flight. Their ascent marks a significant shift in the national football landscape, particularly for Lagos State, which will now see three representatives in the NPFL next season.

While the Southern Conference tickets have been settled by Sporting Lagos and Inter Lagos, the Northern Conference remains unresolved. Ranchers Bees, the Kaduna-based side backed by Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar, are locked in a high-stakes battle with Jigawa Golden Stars. A recent disciplinary ruling awarding Jigawa three points has placed them at the summit, leaving the "Sadiq Umar boys" needing a decisive result in their final fixture to reclaim the top spot and the final Super 4 berth.

League officials have attributed the increased competitiveness of the 2025/2026 campaign to structural reforms and strategic investment from Toptier Sports Management. These improvements have reportedly led to enhanced officiating standards, consistent payment of match officials, and broader media visibility for the second-tier league.

With the draw only days away, the focus of the Nigerian football community shifts to Lagos to see which clubs will face off for the right to be crowned NNL champions.
