The Chief Executive Officer of Land Republic and Aroko Farms & Resort, Dr. Victor Adegbile, has been honoured with the Award for Global Excellence in Real Estate Investment and Development Across Africa at the 2026 Leaders Without Borders International Honors held in London.

The award ceremony took place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington, during the Leaders Without Borders Investors Business Roundtable and Global Honors 2026, a global gathering of investors, policymakers, and business leaders focused on fostering partnerships and driving enterprise growth across regions.

Adegbile, who also spoke as a guest panelist at the summit, joined conversations on housing, infrastructure, and the role of private capital in addressing Africa’s development needs. He emphasised that the continent’s housing and land challenges present significant opportunities when approached with structured systems and long-term investment strategies.

As CEO of Land Republic, Adegbile has led the company’s expansion across multiple states in Nigeria, including strong operations in Oyo State, where it has been involved in land development and structured property investment initiatives. Under his leadership, the company has positioned itself as a credible platform for simplifying land ownership and improving investor confidence.

He also leads Aroko Farms & Resort, an agro–real estate tourism initiative that integrates land investment with agriculture and destination development, offering a hybrid model that combines economic value with long-term legacy planning.

The summit, themed “Empowering the Future: Catalyzing Global Partnerships, Innovation and High-Growth Enterprises,” featured prominent global figures, including Zambia’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, H.E. Ms. Macenje F. Mazoka, Vice Chairman of Naanovo Group (Europe and Africa), Anthony N. Fiddy, Founder of Collyer & Co., Dr. Andrew Collyer, and Chief Executive Officer of FlyEliteJets, Dr. Christopher Williams-Martins.

Also in attendance were the Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission, Mr. Charles Ebuebu, alongside award-winning broadcast journalist, Blessings O. Mosugu, who co-hosted sessions at the event.

Organisers noted that the awards recognise individuals and organisations demonstrating leadership, innovation, and measurable impact across industries globally.

Observers say Adegbile’s recognition reflects the growing influence of Nigerian entrepreneurs in the global real estate space and reinforces confidence in African-led development models.

Stakeholders further note that such international recognition aligns with ongoing efforts to position Nigeria, and subnational economies like Oyo State, as attractive destinations for investment in real estate, agriculture, and infrastructure.
