He added: “The convention theme speaks to our collective commitment to reach beyond limitations of geography, background, and circumstances. It is a call to serve with compassion, unity, and purpose, touching lives wherever the need arises.
“As we gather for this convention, we are reminded that rue service knows no borders, it flows from a willing heart, creates lasting impact and reflects our shared responsibility to make a difference in our communities and beyond.”
Also, the Aso Convention Chairperson, Ngozi Adigwe, charged members of the humanitarian organisation to use the gathering as an opportunity to inspire collaboration and reignite their shared passion for service.
She said: “As we gather to deliberate on issues, share ideas and chart new paths, let us bear in mind that every act of kindness we extend is a beacon of hope to that one person in need.
“As Lions, we are all about service and unity. We need each other’s strength to make the real impact. At all times, regardless of whatever situation, we need to serve together.”
