Soludo had earlier decorated the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Rev Matthew Hassan Kukah, following his appointment as the new Chancellor of the University.
During the convocation week, the institution hosted two European Ambassadors: the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Mr. Goutier Mignot, who delivered a lecture on climate action, and the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Michal Cygan, who delivered a lecture on shared prosperity.
The lectures reflect the three Vs of Values, Viability, and Visibility of the University Vice Chancellor, Prof Kate Omenugha. Both Ambassadors were received by Governor Soludo at the State Government House, also known as The Light House, in Awka, the State capital.
