A viral video capturing market women in ecstatic celebration has emerged online following the birth of triplets to popular actors Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe.

In the clip, elderly women are seen dancing joyfully in what appears to be a bustling market in the South-West region.

Adourned in market attire and holding a crate of soft drinks, the women sang Yoruba gospel songs, offered heartfelt prayers, and gave thanks to God for the safe delivery of the babies.

“Thank God on behalf of Bimpe, Lateef wife,” one of the women declared amid the lively festivities.

The couple, who tied the knot in a widely celebrated wedding in December 2021, announced the arrival of their three sons on social media earlier this week.

The news comes after years of public anticipation and occasional online scrutiny regarding their wait for children.

Reacting emotionally to the market women’s video via her Instagram Story on Sunday, Mo Bimpe expressed delight and called for the women to be identified.

“Find them for me! They need to attend our party,” she wrote.

The development has been met with widespread jubilation across Nigeria’s entertainment industry and on social media platforms, with fans and colleagues hailing the arrival of the triplets.
