The management of Mikano International Limited has described as false claims linking its chairman, Mr. Mofid Karameh to any criminal activity.

In a statement made available to The Nation at the weekend, the company said a purported report published by a news platform (not The Nation), made insinuations that MR. Karameh was involved in shady deals, a claim they refuted.

In the statement which reads in part, the company stressed that, “These claims are entirely unfounded, baseless, and defamatory. At no time has Mr. Karameh been involved in, investigated for, or associated with any form of illegal activity. Such allegations are a gross misrepresentation of his character and the values he upholds.
