Registration has opened for the 2026 edition of Miss Port Harcourt City as the organisers mark a decade of the pageant’s existence.

The organisers announced that interested participants can now register for the competition, with an early bird fee of N15,000 available until May 1, 2026. From May 2, the registration fee will increase to N20,000.

The upcoming edition branded as the 10th anniversary, is expected to attract a new wave of contestants seeking visibility and opportunities in the entertainment and lifestyle space. Over the years, the pageant has positioned itself as a platform for young women in Rivers State and beyond to showcase talent, confidence and social impact.

Speaking on the milestone, the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Anita May Igoni, said the 2026 edition represents more than just a beauty contest.

“This 10th year is a reflection of our journey, growth and the lives we have impacted over time. Miss Port Harcourt City is not just about beauty; it is about building confident, purpose-driven young women who can represent their communities and create change,” she said.

She added that the organisers are committed to raising the standard of the pageant as it enters its second decade. “We are looking to deliver an even more impactful experience this year, with better opportunities, stronger partnerships, and a wider platform for our contestants,” she noted.

In previous editions, Miss Port Harcourt City has featured activities ranging from talent showcases to community-based projects, with winners often pursuing careers in entertainment, fashion, and advocacy.

With registration now underway, expectations are building around what organisers describe as a landmark edition, as the pageant continues to expand its footprint within Nigeria’s entertainment ecosystem.
