Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has dismissed speculation linking him with another spell in Europe, insisting his focus remains firmly on domestic football with Kano Pillars.

The 31-year-old had been linked with a move to Kazakhstani side FC Kaysar, especially after his former national teammate Victor Moses sealed a transfer there. However, sources close to Musa have clarified that there are no ongoing discussions regarding an overseas move.

Musa, who combines his playing duties with a leadership role at Kano Pillars, is reportedly committed to rebuilding the club and steering them away from relegation danger in the NPFL.

Having previously featured in top European leagues in Russia, England, and Turkey most recently with Sivasspor Musa appears determined to channel his experience into restoring stability and competitive strength to one of Nigeria’s most historic clubs.
