The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has applauded the Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi for sustaining the Ireyode Free JAMB Forms Initiative, through which 200 JAMB forms are provided annually to students.

A statement from the Office of the General Secretary, NANS JCC Ondo State Axis, and signed by Comr. Oladele Oluwafemi Emmanuel thanked the Deputy Speaker for sustaining the Ireyode Free JAMB Forms Initiative, through which 200 JAMB forms are provided annually to students, a program he has consistently implemented since 2023 to support students in their academic pursuits.

"This effort reflects a practical and commendable commitment to educational access and youth development.

"As one of his constituent members and also a student leader, I recognize this intervention as timely and impactful, especially for students who may struggle with the financial requirements of examination registration. Providing 200 JAMB forms each year has reduced barriers to education and strengthened hope among young people who aspire to further their studies.

"While we commend this noble and consistent gesture, the Office of the General Secretary wishes to state that students remain in solidarity with Rt. Hon. Oyewusi and appreciate his continued support for education. At the same time, we look forward to even greater interventions from his office in advancing student welfare, educational support, and youth empowerment across communities, as such efforts remain crucial to building a better future for students," the statement said.
