The Nigeria Cricket Federation has confirmed the immediate departure of Steve Tikolo as Head Coach of the Senior Men’s National Team and High-Performance Manager.

In a statement issued by the federation’s Public Relations Officer, Musa Bodie, the decision was described as mutual, bringing to an end nearly 40 months of service.

During his tenure, Tikolo oversaw measurable progress in Nigerian cricket. The team climbed from 42nd to 37th in the International Cricket Council T20 rankings and strengthened its dominance within West Africa, while becoming more competitive against established East African sides.
