The newly-appointed Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Kogi State, Prof. Usman Ogbo, has commenced a familiarisation tour of the university’s faculties, meeting with academic and non-academic staff to present his vision for reform and institutional renewal. During interactive sessions across various schools and departments, he reaffirmed his commitment to restoring the university’s past glory through transparency, accountability, and teamwork.

Addressing concerns about staff welfare, he reassured employees of proper salary accrual and pledged that all legitimate entitlements would be paid promptly and consistently.  

The don charged staff with renewed dedication to duty, assigning additional responsibilities aimed at strengthening academic standards, research output, and administrative efficiency.

He further urged collective commitment to excellence, stressing that meaningful change would require discipline, collaboration, and a shared resolve to move the institution forward.
