NPFL: Tight goal race as Mbaoma, Obaje Chase Arumala

Victor Mbaoma strengthened his position in the NPFL top scorer race after netting in Remo Stars’ 3–0 win over Niger Tornadoes.

The striker now has 11 goals, level with Godwin Obaje and just one behind league leader Joseph Arumala, who has 12.

Five other players are also in contention with 10 goals each, keeping the race tight.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa scored a stoppage-time winner for Kano Pillars against Rivers United, taking his tally to six goals this season.
