The Ojomu Youth Forum of Ajiran Ojomu in Eti-Osa Local Government Area has appealed to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other Nigerians to ensure a fair and impartial process in an ongoing community dispute.

In a statement signed by its Secretary, Mr. Wasiu Akinshemoyin, the Forum addressed claims related to Hamed Tajudeen Akanbi, Wasiu Yekini Akinsemoyin, and the Ojomu Youth Forum/Ojomu Family Council, stating that the individuals and groups remain committed to lawful conduct and community development.

The Forum affirmed its readiness to cooperate fully with authorities in the ongoing investigation into recent community incidents. It called on all stakeholders to allow due process to take its course, with investigators guided strictly by verifiable evidence.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the arrest of nine persons in connection with the matter, adding that investigations are ongoing.

In a separate statement, the Ojomu Royal Family of Ajiran, led by Oba Tijani Adetunji Akinloye and Alhaji Yekini Olawale Bakare, also expressed support for the investigative process, noting that the objective is to ensure justice and preserve peace and security within the community.

Both sides urged residents to remain calm and expressed confidence that the issues would be resolved through lawful and transparent procedures.
