A chieftain of the Kayode Otitoju family of Odooro Ekiti in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Kayode Otitoju, has congratulated Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, Oyo State former governor’s wife, on her appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria.

Otitoju, a former commissioner for information in Ekiti State, described the appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well-deserved in a congratulatory message, expressing confidence in Mrs. Ajimobi’s ability to represent the country with dignity.

He said Mrs. Ajimobi’s performance during her tenure as First Lady of Oyo State demonstrated leadership qualities that would help her succeed in the diplomatic assignment.

Otitoju noted that Austria, one of Europe’s most peaceful and developed nations, would benefit from Mrs. Ajimobi’s experience and commitment to public service.

“Your sterling performance as the immediate past First Lady of Oyo State leaves no one in doubt that you will handle this exceptional international assignment with the seriousness and dignity expected by Mr. President and the good people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.

Otitoju prayed for divine guidance and protection for the new envoy as she undertakes her diplomatic duties.
