A lawyer, philanthropist and community leader, Dr. Oladipupo Wilson Diriwari, has intensified support for students across Ajeromi-Ifelodun constituency through targeted intervention programmes to broaden access to education.
The philanthropist, in partnership with OWD Foundation has facilitated distribution of JAMB registration forms not just to indigent but academically driven students, enabling them to pursue admission into tertiary institutions.

The initiative forms part of a long-running educational support scheme that has, over the past eight years, also covered WAEC and GCE registration fees for hundreds of beneficiaries within the community.
Speaking on the initiative, Diriwari stated that the programme goes beyond providing examination forms, saying its role in unlocking opportunities for young people facing financial constraints.
He said: "This is not just about forms; it is about opening doors. I know what it means to have the desire to move forward but lack the means. If a simple intervention like this can help a young person stay on that path, then it is worth it."
According to him, education remained one of the most powerful tools to give children, which he he will continue to do.
Diriwari, who grew up in Ajegunle along Ojo Road—popularly referred to as the “jungle city”—noted that his personal background continues to shape his commitment to educational development and equal opportunity.

The initiative targets students with strong academic potential who are unable to afford the cost of key examinations, a barrier that often limits access to higher education.
By covering registration fees, the programme ensures that financial hardship does not derail the aspirations of promising youths.
Some beneficiaries lauded the initiative, saying the intervention came at a critical time.
Parents and guardians also expressed relief, describing the assistance as timely amid rising economic pressures.
Residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun have described the initiative as a consistent and impactful presence, highlighting its role in supporting families and strengthening educational outcomes in the area.
Observers say the programme’s longevity reflects a deeper commitment to grassroots development and youth empowerment.
As another batch of students prepares to sit for their examinations, stakeholders say the initiative is already making a visible difference—boosting confidence and offering a clearer path to higher education for many young people in the constituency.
