According to Down Detector, the problem was global, with users across multiple continents reporting access issues.

The cause of the outage remains unclear, as X and Elon Musk, its owner, have not released a statement.
However, the service has been restored, with some users reporting that it's back online.
This isn't the first time X has faced technical challenges. In November 2025, the platform experienced a separate outage affecting users in multiple countries.
