  • ...Pushes case for continuity and reform consolidation

The Asiwaju Project Beyond 2027 movement made a prominent statement during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent state visit to the United Kingdom, signalling a coordinated push to sustain his Renewed Hope Agenda and extend reform initiatives into a second term.

At the forefront was Hon. Abiodun M. Yinusa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, whose leadership was described as emblematic of a “structured and forward-thinking political machinery” designed to galvanise both domestic and international support for Nigeria’s ongoing transformation.

The London gathering brought together influential stakeholders across governance, business, and global enterprise, highlighting the growing role of diaspora-driven advocacy in shaping Nigeria’s economic and political future. Key figures included Barr. (Ambassador) Seyi Tinubu, Hon. Tunde Doherty, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, APC Volunteers convener Taiwo Ayedun (Shanana), and Kunle Ibrahim, CEO of Softline Tech & Services Sweden. Their collective presence underscored a fusion of political experience, economic insight, and global business acumen.

Project Beyond has positioned itself as a leading pro-continuity platform, advocating that President Tinubu’s first term demonstrates competence, decisive governance, and the political will necessary for enduring national reforms.

The movement argues that the reforms—ranging from economic recalibrations to structural policy shifts—require stability and continuity to fully benefit Nigerians.

A senior figure within the movement said, “President Tinubu has proven his competence through decisive governance and a willingness to confront entrenched challenges. What Nigeria needs now is not disruption, but consolidation. A second term ensures that the reforms already underway mature into tangible prosperity for all Nigerians.”

The London event also sent a strategic message to political leaders, business captains, and diaspora stakeholders, calling for alignment behind sustained reform and national progress.

Analysts noted that the gathering was more than ceremonial—it was a calibrated demonstration of political intent, framing continuity as both a political and national imperative.

For Project Beyond and its supporters, the objective is clear: deepen the gains of the first tenure by strengthening national unity, accelerating economic development, and enhancing security, ensuring that Nigeria maximises the benefits of what the movement describes as one of the most consequential reform periods in the nation’s history.

The London engagement highlighted a broader theme: Nigeria is at a pivotal moment, and the choices of its leaders and stakeholders in the coming years will determine whether current reforms translate into lasting prosperity.

Project Beyond 2027’s message is unequivocal—sustained leadership under President Tinubu is essential for Nigeria to rise, compete, and thrive on the global stage.
