Roland Igbadumhe declares for Edo Assembly seat

Prominent Edo politician, Roland Igbadumhe, popularly known as “Youngest Old Man,” has thrown his hat into the race to represent Etsako East  in the Edo Assembly.

At a declaration ceremony held weekend in Etsako East  APC secretariat, Igbadumhe, who first cut his teeth in the entertainment sector and his well known as an accomplished comedian, beamed with smiles as he was warmly greeted, patted in the back and accorded a reception befitting of a king 

Igbadumhe, attired in a a flowing senator's cloth, spoke about why he should be voted for as the next House of Assembly member from Etsako East.

 He said, "What I am asking for is for you people to check your heart if hearts to elect me to become the next House of Assembly member in Etsako East".

He said his election as a member of Edo Assembly member will guarantee expedited and holistic growth and development of  Etsako East. 

He added, "I will use my connection to attract development to this community. And everywhere yougo in Etsako East and whatever it's the person who you know, that you will send on an errand".

Running under the banner titled Renewed Hope 2026, Igbadumhe told the party faithful and supporters that he should offer them quality representation that will usher in a new wave of all round development and accelerated growth for the benefits of the people.

"Roland is my brother, he is my friend, and if he is even given the mandate, he is going to work assiduously for the rest of us," a supporter said 

 Igbadumhe served as Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment to former Edo Governor Adams Oshiomhole, while also championing grassroots initiatives such as building an orphanage in Okpekpe and supporting widows and youth through various empowerment programmes.
