The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, on Saturday officially performed the foundation-laying ceremony for Summit Estate Global, a premier housing development by Homadil Realty Limited.
Strategically located at Cadastral Zone B14, Apo-Dutse District, Abuja—on the same crescent as Cedacrest Hospital and opposite Amina Court Estate—the estate is positioned as a high-potential residential community designed for long-term value appreciation and smart ownership.
Represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Legal and Compliance, Bashir Maidugu, Shettima emphasized the federal government’s commitment to partnering with the private sector to address the nation’s housing deficit.

He noted that housing is fundamental to promoting welfare, national stability, and peaceful co-existence, adding that government reforms are enhancing fiscal stability, improving the investment climate, and unlocking productive sectors, including construction and real estate.
“Real estate development requires not only capital but also patience, discipline, regulatory compliance, and confidence in the future. Summit Estate Global is evidence of that confidence,” Shettima said.
He highlighted Abuja’s evolution as a dynamic capital city, not only as the seat of government but as a hub of commerce, diplomacy, and innovation.

Shettima urged developers to maintain strict regulatory compliance and uphold the highest standards in title documentation, construction quality, and estate management.
In her remarks, Homadil Realty MD, Hon. Rebecca Godwin-Isaac, reaffirmed her company’s dedication to providing middle- and low-income earners nationwide with opportunities to own decent housing, stressing its importance to physical and emotional well-being.
She noted that the project also offers attractive prospects for investors and prospective homeowners, citing the company’s strong track record of delivery and credibility.
The project contractor, Dr. Engr. Isaac Ishaku Yusuf, who is also the MD’s husband, commended the Vice President for supporting the organization’s mission to expand access to quality housing.
Addressing potential investors and homeowners, he said: “This is your opportunity to invest early in a development built on structure, transparency, and long-term growth.”
Anchored by entertainers Shortcut and MC Bob, the ceremony drew prominent guests, including former Minister of Women Affairs, Barr. Uju Kennedy, and a former FCT Police Commissioner, among others.
