Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has approved the appointment of managing directors for key government agencies in the state.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday.
He said Mr Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, formerly the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State ICT Agency, has been appointed Managing Director of the Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ASICTA).

According to Aburime, Mr Emeka Okonkwo has been reappointed as Managing Director of the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA), while Mr Osita Onuko retains his position as Managing Director of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).
He added that the appointments are expected to bring renewed drive, innovation and commitment to the agencies as they work to improve service delivery and governance in the state.
