...commends patriotism, professionalism in service

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Aneke, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his leadership and dedication to the defence of Nigeria’s sovereignty.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President extended warm greetings to the Air Force Chief and joined his family, friends, and associates in celebrating the special day.

President Tinubu prayed that God Almighty would grant Air Marshal Aneke continued wisdom, strength, and good health as he pilots the affairs of the Nigerian Air Force at a critical period in the nation’s security landscape.

The President praised the Chief of the Air Staff for his patriotism, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

He noted that under his leadership, the Nigerian Air Force has remained steadfast in supporting ongoing security operations across various theatres in the country.

President Tinubu further encouraged Air Marshal Aneke to redouble his efforts in strengthening operational effectiveness and enhancing collaboration with other arms of the Armed Forces to consolidate gains in the fight against insecurity.

“As you celebrate this special day, I urge you to continue to demonstrate the courage, discipline, and strategic foresight required to secure our nation and protect our people,” the President was quoted as saying.

He wished the Air Force Chief many happy returns and continued success in his service to the nation.
