Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has led high-level engagements at the Kaduna Electric Franchise Energy Summit in London, advancing the state’s push for sustainable power supply and economic growth.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, who described the summit as a critical milestone in the administration’s industrialization and investment drive.
Maiyaki said the governor’s participation aligns with his broader agenda of fostering economic growth, attracting investments and promoting shared prosperity, with reliable energy identified as a key driver.
He noted that the engagement underscores Kaduna’s commitment to building strategic partnerships and strengthening regional collaboration aimed at expanding access to electricity.
According to him, Governor Sani used the platform to engage investors and stakeholders on scalable and sustainable energy solutions capable of supporting industrial development.
The governor also joined his counterparts from Zamfara and Kebbi states to deepen regional cooperation in the power sector, with a focus on unlocking opportunities for growth across the North-West.
A major highlight of the summit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Kaduna State Government and ASI Engineering Limited to drive reforms and infrastructure expansion in the power sector.
