Prince Ekus aka Happy Boy, is one of the fast-rising Nigerian gospel acts with an Afrosound that distinguishes him from his peers.

The indigene of Esan Central LGA, Edo State, emerged from a culturally rich background, as his journey into music is marked by passion, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose.

From humble beginnings, he has steadily carved a space for himself in the music scene, using his talent to inspire, uplift, and connect with people across different walks of life.

Prince Ekus is widely recognised for his contributions to Esan music, blending traditional sounds with contemporary gospel influences. His energetic stage presence and commitment to authentic storytelling have made him a favourite at live performances and events.

Over time, he has collaborated with respected local artists such as Ehi Charles and Adviser Eromhonsele, further strengthening his presence within the industry.

Rooted in the gospel genre, his music carries powerful messages of hope, faith, and gratitude, all delivered through vibrant, culturally infused rhythms.

Happy Boy is signed to the Junior Happy Boy Entertainment Limited, a platform he uses to promote his music and support emerging talent under the management of Alex Obehi Usiabulu, aka Mlex Songz.

Before stepping into the spotlight, he honed his craft as a backup singer for his late elder brother, from whom he drew inspiration for his stage name, now known as Junior Happy Boy. This early experience played a significant role in shaping his musical journey, stage presence, and overall artistic identity.
