ValueJet Airlines has concluded plans to expand its route network with the introduction of Benin City as a new destination.
The Managing Director and Accountable Officer, Captain Omololu Majekodunmi, said the new domestic service connecting Lagos to the Edo State capital would strengthen the airline’s presence across Nigeria and enhance connectivity to the South-South region.
He described the development as part of the carrier’s commitment to improving domestic travel by offering passengers more convenient, reliable and time-saving options for both business and leisure, while providing a faster and more comfortable alternative to road travel along the corridor.

He added that the airline currently operates flights from Lagos to major destinations including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Calabar, Kano, Gateway International Airport and Jos, alongside regional services to Cotonou, Accra, Malabo and Banjul.
With the latest expansion, ValueJet said it is consolidating its position in Nigeria’s aviation sector by delivering safe, reliable and affordable air travel while improving connectivity across the country and the wider region.
