Alhaji Nasiru Halandu Danu, the Sardauan of the Dutse Emirate in Jigawa State and Tafida of the Babban Daura Emirate in Katsina State, has long been regarded as a figure of integrity and warmth. His affable personality and approachable demeanor, however, have made him a target for those seeking to exploit his kindness. Recently, he has found himself embroiled in a troubling episode of cyberbullying and defamation after a controversial online news platform questioned the legitimacy of the N22 billion headquarters project for the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), which his company, Messrs NHD Interbiz Projects Ltd, was awarded for its initial phase of execution.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Alhaji Danu has chosen to remain largely silent, preferring to respond through official channels rather than engage in public disputes. Many observers have criticized the media outlet for its relentless campaign against him, alleging that it has resorted to publishing derogatory and unsubstantiated claims. Invoking the principles of justice and fairness, Danu’s legal representatives have sent a formal letter to the media platform, demanding an immediate retraction of the false claims and a public apology, underlining the damaging nature of their reporting.

Sources close to the situation suggest that the media platform is being manipulated by individuals who perceive Danu as a threat, resorting to such tactics in a desperate attempt to undermine his reputation and professional success. Nonetheless, Alhaji Danu has publicly declared his commitment to resilience in the face of adversity.

He remains undeterred by the negativity surrounding him, asserting that he will continue to thrive and maintain his high standards of conduct, irrespective of the malicious efforts aimed at tarnishing his name and that all the media attack are the work of those who are afraid of his rise. His steadfast resolve serves as an inspiration to many who admire his ability to rise above challenges with dignity and grace.
