Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) has lauded Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), principal partner of Wole Olanipekun & Co., on his recognition in the Chambers & Partners Global 2026 Rankings as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution.

In a statement, it said Olanipekun’s honour is a testament to decades of sustained excellence, principled advocacy and contributions to advancement of constitutional law and jurisprudence.

The statement said: “Chief Olanipekun’s presence at the Bar has not only shaped legal thought but has also strengthened democratic institutions and deepened the rule of law.

“As one of Nigeria’s most sought-after advocates in electoral and constitutional matters, Olanipekun has stood in the forefront of landmark legal battles that defined political transitions and clarified constitutional interpretations. His mastery of advocacy, understanding of constitutional law and commitment to justice have earned him a place among respected legal minds.

“Olanipekun is a patriotic Nigerian whose ideological convictions resonate with the progressive ideals of President Bola Tinubu. While the noble traditions and ethical demands of his profession may not permit open political alignment, his spirit, intellect and belief in progressive governance reflect a commitment to development and democratic consolidation.’’

“This latest global recognition further affirms what many within the legal community and beyond have long known that Chief Wole Olanipekun is not merely a legal practitioner but a statesman of the law, a constitutional architect and a custodian of democratic order.

“On this remarkable achievement, BAT-IG extends its heartfelt wishes for long life, sound health and continued victories in the temple of justice. May his wisdom continue to guide the Bar, inspire younger generations of lawyers and strengthen Nigeria’s constitutional democracy.”
