He then beat Poland's Antoni Zajac 3-0 in the round of 16 and Bulgaria's Dan Zhelyazkov 3-1 in the quarterfinals before losing to France's Sacha Douaran in the semifinals.

In the Under-11 draw, Aruna beat Luxembourg's Noah Wolter 3-2 in the semifinal to reach the final, where he lost 15-13, 11-8, 11-8 to Bulgaria's Zhelyazkov to claim silver.

The double-medal haul marks Junior Aruna's first significant return on the international circuit.
