“The convention reaffirmed the unity of our party and our preparedness for the task ahead,” he said.

Re-elected for a second term, Israel pledged to deepen youth engagement and grassroots mobilisation in the country. He emphasised that the convention coming on the heels of successful ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses has laid a solid foundation for the party’s next phase.

As part of efforts to expand participation, he announced the rollout of a digital mobilisation platform, SWEEP App, designed to connect members at the polling unit level and enhance grassroots coordination. He also oulined plans to relaunch the Jagaban Army Movement 2.0 to drive door-to-door voter engagement ahead of future elections.

Israel noted the interest among youths, particularly Gen Z, in joining APC, attributing the trend to sustained outreach and youth-focused initiatives.

Also, he expressed confidence in the reforms under President Bola Tinubu, citing signs of gradual economic stabilisation and expanded access to youth-oriented programmes, including student loans and consumer credit schemes.

He reiterated the party’s commitment to inclusivity, highlighting increasing participation of women in party structures and leadership.

Israel pledged APC’s resolve to win in 2027 and ensure re-election of the President.
