A group in APC, Orile-Agege Youth Vanguard, has declared its support for Azeez Yusuf to run for the House of Assembly, representing Agege Constituency 02, in Lagos State.

The group spoke at a briefing in Agege, Lagos, yesterday.

It described Yusuf as a philanthropist who empowers women, widows, widowers, and has sponsored youth education and sports in the area.

Coordinator, Adetunji Owokalade, said:  ‘’After consultation, we declare our  support for Azeez Yusuf (Nino).

“Our decision is not based on sentiment, but on conviction. We believe in leadership that is close to the people, leadership that listens, and leadership that is ready to serve. From what we have seen and engaged with, Nino represents these qualities. We believe he understands the needs of our community, especially the youth, and can represent Orile-Agege effectively. This declaration is not just a statement but a movement. Our vanguard will  mobilise across the six wards, engage young people, and create  awareness at the grassroots level.

We are ready to work, to organise, and to ensure that this support translates into real impact.

He said the Youth Vanguard would mobilise support to purchase Yusuf’s nomination form  ‘’to show that our commitment is not just in words, but in practical action.

‘’We call on all youths, community leaders, stakeholders, and residents of Orile Agege to join us in this journey.

This is not just about one individual but it is about the future of our community, better representation, and giving the youth a stronger voice.

“Let it be known today that the youth of Orile Agege are ready and united. The youth of Orile- Agege will be heard. We are not just preparing for the future; we are taking responsibility for the present.

‘’Orile -Agege youths are ready to mobilise, ready to participate, and ready to deliver. Owokalade,’’ he added.
