Kolapo Koladaisi (KKD), son-in-law to the late former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has met with leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan as part of consultations ahead of his planned bid for the Oyo South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
Koladaisi, who addressed party leaders at the Oke-Ado APC secretariat, said the engagement was to formally notify them of his intention to contest, expressing confidence in his chances of securing both the party’s ticket and eventual victory.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and commitment to the development of Oyo South, pledging to deploy his experience and energy to advance the senatorial district if elected.
According to him, his representation would combine youthful dynamism with a focus on wealth creation and effective legislative engagement, while ensuring the attraction of federal projects to the constituency.

Koladaisi assured stakeholders that no part of Oyo South would be neglected, promising inclusive representation and tangible benefits for residents.
He also disclosed that he has the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as a father figure, expressing optimism that with backing from party leaders, his 2027 ambition would succeed.
In their remarks, the Oyo State APC Chairman, Chief Moses Adeyemo, alongside other party executives and stakeholders, commended Koladaisi’s consultative approach and commitment to party processes, describing him as a loyal member with the capacity to deliver victory at the polls.
