The Katsina State.Command of Lajnatul Hisbah Association of Nigeria has pledged to assist the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) through voter education, community mobilisation, and promotion of community-based activities that will ensure credible outcome in the next year’s election
Hisba Katsina Command Leader, Billiaminu Mohammed Balarabe, who made pledge yesterday while addressing a press conference, lauded the importance of continuous voter registration as well as the need for the election of credible candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections
He said: ‘’As we looked forward to the next electoral cycle,it’s imperative to recognise the vital role played by INEC in ensuring free,fair and.credible elections.

‘’We urged registered voters to safeguard their PVCs and ensure they are ready for the next election. Democracy thrives when citizens actively participate and voting is not a right but also a duty that shapes the future of our nation.
‘’As we approach 2027, it is equally important to emphasise the need to elect credible, competent and trustworthy leaders.the quality of leadership determines the direction of governance, development and national unity.’’
Balarabe warned against sharp electoral malpractices and violence, assuring that it will collaborate with security agencies to promote hitch-free exercise.
