Leader of Al-Munirat Arabic and Islamic Academy, Ketu in Lagos, Dr. Sulaiman Algamawi, called for spiritual renewal and community cooperation.

Speaking at a Ramadan lecture and prize presentation to winners of Qur’an competition, he said Muslims should embrace purposeful living.

He said Ramadan is a sacred period for believers, noting the Qur’an was shown in the month as a guide for mankind.

The leader said the initiative was conceived to promote faith-based values and moral discipline, stressing every action of the faithful should have a purpose and align  with injunctions of Allah.

Inspector Muhammad Ndagi of Alapere Police Station, Area H Command, Lagos, in his lecture, urged residents to support law enforcement with credible information, noting that effective policing depends on public cooperation.

“The public needs to inform the police. Without such i, there is no way we can discharge our duties perfectly,” he said, promising that informants would be protected.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the police to safeguard life and property, adding stronger collaboration between citizens and security agencies is essential for safer communities.
