Afrobeats singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold has announced the upcoming release of a collaborative track with his former record label boss, Olamide.
The song, titled "Formation," is set to drop on April 9, marking a notable reunion between the two artists.
“First time, me and @olamide… Formation. April 9,” Gold wrote on X.
Gold, who rose to fame with his 2015 hit single "Sade", was signed to Olamide's YBNL Nation label from 2014 to 2016.
After parting ways with the label, Gold expressed gratitude towards Olamide for recognising his potential and supporting his early career.
The "Formation" collaboration is expected to blend Gold's melodic style with Olamide's energetic street-hop influence, promising a unique sound for fans.
