Aspirant for Lagos State governor on the platform of APC in 2027, Dr. Samuel Ajose, has promised free medical care for Lagosians and living wages for government workers if nominated by his party and elected into office.

Ajose spoke during declaration of his intention at Makoko, Lagos headquarters of Celestial Church of Christ, where he was endorsed by the church, including the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the church worldwide, Rev. E.M.F. Oshoffa.

Ajose said besides his plans for the state, he wants a true son of Badagry to occupy the seat for the first time, having had governors from the other four of the original five divisions of the state.

A message of endorsement by Oshoffa read by Head of Media and Publicity, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, read in part: “As pastor and spiritual head of the world’s largest white garment church, Celestial Church of Christ, I affirm Dr. Samuel Mawuyon is known to me. His late father, Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose, was a shining light of our great church in his lifetime.”

Also attesting to his loyalty to the ideologies, political philosophies and leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Reverend Oshoffa said “I recommend him and endorse the political aspiration of Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose (SMA Gold).”

Riding on the back of the support of the church, Ajose, who said the number of Celestial Church of Christ membership in Lagos is more than the number of APC registered members, declared that together with the strong backing of the people of Badagry and the entire people of Lagos State at large, he will galvanise more than 3.5million votes for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
