Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) in Edo State has promised to invite Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to beam its searchlight on some projects of Governor Monday Okpebholo, especially the two flyovers.
It challenged the governor to disclose the cost of building of the two flyovers, which he had invited celebrities to inspect.
CRPP, in a communiqué issued after its meeting in Benin City, signed by its National Chairman, Dr. Samson Isibor, said the best achievements of Governor Okpebholo had not met expectations of the masses.
Isibor said Edo people deserved to know when the flyovers were advertised for bidding and how many firms submitted bids.

The communiqué said: “We challenge Governor Okpebholo to explain to Edo people how he plans to deliver 2.5 million votes for President Tinubu in the coming election in 2027.
“To us, it is nothing more than a wishful thinking, unless he plans to play political abracadabra with Edo voters. We assure him that Edo people will resist any attempt to subvert their wish through rigging, with the last drop of their blood.
“Finally, we condemn Okpebholo’s undue interference and single-handedly picking candidates in the forthcoming primary election of his party. We urge him to let democracy breathe.”
Edo Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua, described CRPP as a scam, “driven by one ragtag, turncoat politician, who has been feeding fat on such a clueless organisation that is not known to law.”
“Since 2007, this same CRPP has been in the hands of Mr. Isibor for political negotiation. We will not glorify him with a response. Edo people are not blind, they can see the visible signs of our intervention.”
