Davido, Chioma to sue trolls over alleged cyberbullying - Ubi Franklin

Music executive Ubi Franklin has warned that individuals allegedly involved in coordinated online attacks against singer Davido, his wife Chioma Adeleke, and the Adeleke family may face legal action. 

In posts shared on X on Tuesday, Franklin, who identifies as Chioma’s manager, said those behind what he described as organized trolling and harassment would soon face law enforcement.

"One after the other, you will explain to the law enforcement what Chef Chi has done to all of you, just keep opening groups to bully her, Her Husband, me as her manager, and the entire family has your time now, and we will follow the rules, and you will be served", he said.

He indicated that messages circulating in private group chats contained disturbing content directed at the couple. 

"You know people are evil, right? The message I see on this group chat is just", he added.

Franklin stated that the individuals involved would be required to explain their actions to law enforcement.

He added that Chioma’s husband, himself as her manager, and the wider Adeleke family were prepared to pursue the matter through legal channels. 

According to Franklin, the incidents reflect a pattern of organized cyberbullying carried out through multiple group chats and online communities.

He said the conduct goes beyond routine criticism and constitutes repeated, targeted harassment of Chioma, who is publicly known as Chef Chi, and those associated with her. 

Franklin urged the public to recognize the behaviour as bullying rather than dismiss it as standard celebrity criticism. 

Chioma Adeleke has frequently faced online scrutiny linked to her marriage to Davido.

Social media commentary about her often includes criticism of her fashion and public appearances, remarks on her lifestyle and work as a celebrity chef, spillover from fan rivalries involving Davido, Wizkid, and other artists, and renewed attention tied to Davido’s past personal controversies.
