Former Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Comrade Ayodele Adewale has met with the Apex Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council.

The meeting formed part of Adewale’s ongoing grassroots consultations with key leaders and stakeholders across the constituency for his House of Representatives ambition.

During the interaction, the leaders prayed for his success and provided strategic advice as he prepares for the forthcoming APC primary election.

The meeting was chaired by Prince Rasheed Otolorin, Chairman of the Apex body and former Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area. It was jointly presided over by Prince Otolorin and Alhaja Memunat Ajao.

The meeting underscored the importance of consultation, unity and internal cohesion within the party as the APC prepares for its primary elections.

Adewale was advised not to relent in reaching out to all members of the party and relevant stakeholders.

In response, Comrade Ayodele expressed appreciation to the leaders and pledged to take all advice seriously.

He assured them that he would prioritise Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in his legislative engagements, with a view to attracting development and social empowerment for the people through constructive lobbying and advocacy.

Adewale has served as APC Lagos State Organising Secretary and Lagos State Coordinator for the APC E-Registration Exercise, which recorded Lagos State emerging first among the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT with a very big merging.

He previously served as Mobilisation and Liaison Officer to Chief Anthony Enahoro CFR-led Pro-National Conference Organisation (PRONACO); Secretary to the late Dr. Beko Ransome-Kuti-led June 12 Coalition and Stakeholders; and Secretary to Prof. Wole Soyinka’s Citizens Forum (CF). He also served as National Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and President of the Lagos State University Students’ Union Government.
