Actress and producer Fathia Williams is grieving the loss of her mother, Mrs. Gloria Uzoamaka Williams, who died on February 7, a day before the actress marked her 55th birthday.

Actress and producer Fathia Williams is grieving the loss of her mother, Mrs. Gloria Uzoamaka Williams, who died on February 7, a day before the actress marked her 55th birthday.

The family reportedly withheld the news of her mother’s passing until after the birthday celebration.

A video circulating on social media on Saturday captured the actress in tears during the burial ceremony held at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos.

Friends and colleagues, including Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe and Saidi Balogun, attended the ceremony to support and console her.

In a tribute, Balogun described the deceased as Williams’ “cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend and gist partner.”

Since the news became public, the actress has received an outpouring of condolences from colleagues and fans.
