The Faculty Company has announced the launch of its School Leadership Masterclass, a pan-African development initiative aimed at equipping school leaders with the mindset, systems, and strategies required to build effective, sustainable, and high-performing schools.

The masterclass will be held across key African cities, including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Accra, and Nairobi, running from April 24 to May 23, 2026.

With the theme, “Intentional Leadership: Leading by Design, Not by Default,” the masterclass is designed to challenge conventional leadership approaches while inspiring a new generation of purposeful and results-driven school leaders across the continent.

Convener of the programme, renowned education expert and school leadership coach, Tope Adenuga, emphasized the importance of intentionality in school leadership.

He said, "Every thriving school is a product of intentional decisions, systems, and leadership actions.”

“This masterclass challenges leaders to stop leading by default and start leading by design. It is built on real school realities in Africa, global best practices, and years of my consulting experience across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and beyond.”

He added that the School Leadership Masterclass is tailored for a wide range of education stakeholders, including school proprietors, heads of schools, directors of education, education consultants, academic and operations managers, education entrepreneurs, and key decision-makers in the sector.

Adenuga posited that participants are expected to gain practical insights, proven frameworks, and actionable strategies that will enable them to transform their institutions and drive excellence at all levels.

He further said that education leaders across Africa should take advantage of the initiative to redefine leadership, strengthen institutional systems, and position their schools for long-term impact.

"The Faculty Company is dedicated to advancing educational excellence by empowering school leaders with innovative knowledge, tools, and strategies tailored to meet the evolving demands of education across Africa", he said.
